my name is heath - I take photographs.
I am fascinated by an individuals embedded aesthetics - what is it that makes us all see differently?
I live in byron bay.
I like cameras, dogs, the ocean and accents. I like to watch people. I study form in the landscape. I like simplicity, appreciate old before new, the colour blue, white country homes and silence.
I like reading artist's statements. I dislike photographers glowing appraisals of their own work yet have not reached my word count.
I have 15 years of experience across melbourne's commercial, editorial and creative communities.
In 2010 I was nominated for capture australias top photographer award. In the same year I was shorlisted for the typoty international travel photographer of year. my personal work has been exhibited in london, new york and melbourne - I regret fronting my grade 6 school band.
I like collaborating with fellow creatives. I am a photographer. I always will be.
